African woman dies in Lithuania!
An African woman who was denied asylum in Lithuania has died.
According to the LRT English Newsletter, the news was broken by the Red Cross.
The woman was not given asylum. She, however, stayed in Lithuania and was working in Vilnius.
She was locked up in the Foreigners’ Registration Centre for about a year. She had been living in freedom for about six months.
She had some health issues.When she was feeling unwell, she called an ambulance.
Doctors Without Borders had to part with some money to cover her visit to the doctor. She was accompanied by the Red Cross for her appointment with a gynaecologist.
When they got off at the clinic, the woman started walking but she fell. She was later in a state of coma before passing away.
