ANA CONGRATULATES AFRICA’S OLDEST WRITER, HIS HIGHNESS CHRISTIAN OTOBOTEKERE ON HIS 97TH BIRTHDAY
Dr. Camillus Chima Ukah, President of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) has congratulated Africa’s oldest writer, His Highness Christian Otobotekere as he attains the age of 97. According to Dr. Camillus, the poet is what he called a human being and living ancestor!
This was contained in a statement issued by the National PRO (North) Umar Yogiza Jr in Abuja on Saturday.
According to the release, ANA President said, “Nigeria, Africa and the world at large is proud to have a dedicated luminous talent such as His Highness Christian Otobotekere, who mastered the art of poetry and has contributed and still contributing to the development and growth of Literature in Africa.
Dr. Camillus in Banquet Hall of Bayelsa State Government House, Yenahoa, thanks the Bayelsa State Government for celebrating the poet while alive and prayed for his clean health and long life.
