European countries hungry for workers!

Ukrainian refugees are choosing to move to Germany over Poland.
Ravalli Republic reports that they are doing so for higher wages and government benefits in Germany. The refugees are not economic migrants but since the war has been dragging on, they are increasingly taking on work.
Meanwhile, labor markets in European nations are desperately in need of workers since they are facing demographic declines as a result of low birth rates.
An economist has warned that Ukrainian refugees can not solve all the labor shortages. In a study published on Tuesday, Andrzej Kubisiak of the Polish Economic Institute, said the greatest demand for workers in Poland and other countries in the region is in manufacturing, construction and logistics.
He pointed out that those jobs are traditionally done by men, while most Ukrainian refugees are women.
France, Czechia and Sweden are also experiencing an outflow of Ukrainian refugees.Conversely, Romania, Canada and Italy are having increases in their Ukrainian populations.
