I Love Children – Oluwatosin Adebisi
Could you introduce yourself to netizens?
I am Oluwatosin Adebisi, the Founder of Smiley Educational Support Foundation, an NGO that runs with the mandate of SDG4(Quality Education).
I had my first degrees in Agricultural Extension And Rural Development, from Federal University of Abeokuta Ogun state Nigeria.
Presently, I am an educator (Handwriting Tutor) and an advocate of quality education. (SDG4).

I’m a Nigerian.
What was growing up like?
I was born in the 1990s and I hail from Modakeke, Osun State Nigeria. I am the 3rd child of the family, and I have other two younger siblings. I grew up with the rest of my siblings. I had my primary and secondary education in Modakeke, and then proceeded and had my tertiary Education at Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, Ogun State Nigeria where I studied Agricultural Extension and Rural Development and graduated in year 2019. Thereafter, I was posted to Rivers state for my NYSC (National Youth Service Corps) where I carried out diverse projects that had positive impacts on the host community and its environs. I came back to South Western part of the country where I started my NGO, having caught the vision for Operation Write Well, one of the core programs of the Foundation .

What’s your profession?
I’m an Educator.
You have an N.G.O. what’s its name?
The name of the NGO is Smiley Educational Support Foundation.
Why did you set it up?
My love for humanity, most especially children motivated me to set up Smiley Educational Support Foundation, and it’s my primary desire is to see every child smile via the Foundation.

How’s it faring?
The NGO has been fine and it’s been progressing. We are not where we used to be, growth is taking place.
Although we still have the inability to meet some students/pupils’ needs due to our financial ability, reason being that we wouldn’t want to bite off than we can chew.
We trust God to help us grow faster so that we’ll be able to meet all the educational need of every child we meet.
