I was speechless by Praises Chidera Obiora

By this time we were already driving for 20 minutes and I could not understand why a Ten-minute walk on foot from my hotel to the club, had become a twenty-minute drive from the club back to my hotel.

I stared back at the road and didn’t know the route she had taken. The roads were now scanty. It looked more like a residential area.

I kept looking outside as her speeding car zoomed past the lighted street lights. It was like I was in another world entirely.

“Please is Legendary Hotels still far?”

She looked at me and smiled.

“I like you. You are really serious with your job. You have your office where you do business and it is good. Unlike all those guys who will wait for one to book a hotel for them. It pisses me off.”

“So sorry, ma. But legendary hotels is where I am lodged presently.”

“That is what I am saying. You are a businessman. From your face, I can tell you are an Igbo guy and very committed too.”

“Thank you, ma. But…”

“Well, I don’t do guys in the hotel. I prefer to take you to my house. Don’t worry, I have a big bed. It’s strong and I live alone too. You will just have your shower, eat, and show me the man you are made of. If you are good, then we could extend the days. I need a man to make me feel like a woman tonight and to give me a soft massage tomorrow, and maybe a few rounds after.”

My eyes opened wide. It was at that moment it became clear to me that I had not entered a taxi, but the car of a woman who was suffering from sexual hunger.

I cleared my throat. Pinched my hands for no reason at all and began to stutter.

I was only trying hard not to be offensive in my approach.

“Ma… I thought…”

“You thought I was like other women you’ve slept with in a hotel? O come on. I am different and selective about what I want and the kind of guys I pick up. I don’t just pick up any guy.”

“No, what I mean is that…”

“Are you new to this? Because you’ve been stammering for a moment now? Are you just starting this business?”

“No… I…”

“So if you are not just starting, why do you act like a shy guy? Usually, guys your type should have started rubbing the laps of their clients softly and telling them sweet things in their ears. But you haven’t said anything like that. You are not even showing me that tonight is going to be a hot one. Huh? Talk naughty to me.”

“That is because I am not what you think I am.”

She laughed.

“What are you apart from being handsome? You know there is a saying that handsome men have a very small farm tool in front of them. Can you farm well? Or is it because of your small farm tool that you were the only one left at the junction?”

“Madam, I am not an ashawo.”

“A gigolo you mean?”

“Anyone. I was just innocently waiting for a taxi to take me back to my hotel room, and I thought you were a taxi. I didn’t know you were looking for your own thing.”

“What do you mean? You shouted Legendary hotels. That is what the guys do. I heard you clearly.”

“No… Legendary hotel is where I am lodged.”

“You should have told me earlier.”

She sighed and pointed to her dashboard.

“Even if I planned to take you back to where I picked you from, I don’t have enough fuel. And you can’t get a taxi here too. Worse is that this road is dangerous. You could get arrested. It is a GRA. The least you can do now is to sleep at my place. Or drop down and try your luck.”

To be continued…

My name is Praises Chidera Obiora and I am the best at what I do.
