I wonder why Qatar should have been allowed to host the World Cup!
We have written about the Arab country’s treatment of migrant workers which is full of abuses. The global football body, FIFA, itself admitted to the fact that contractors handling preparations for the World Cup violated workers’ standards.

Now we are faced with having a World Cup in which Qatar’s infringement of Human Rights is being sanctioned by FIFA.
Qatar has rolled out the riot act!

Unmarried couples won’t be allowed to have sex and there won’t by any partying.
These go against fundamental rights of would-be visitors and participants.

I would have thought if Qatar was to be allowed any competition at all, it should have been some competition between Arab countries.
