PREGNANT UKRAINIAN WOMEN ADVISED – Adéwálé Ṣóbọ̀wálé
A paediatrician from Ukraine is currently advising pregnant women from her country at the maternity hospital in Pelgulinn and at West Talinn Central Hospital in Estonia.
According to ERR, Kateryna Halliant who herself fled from Ukraine due to the war used to work as a paediatrician in Kyiv. She has a background in psychological education.
Her new role is to advise and support Ukrainian women who have fled to Estonia. The fact that she can speak to the women Ukrainean goes a long way in putting them at ease in their new surrounding.
