The Sierra Leone Foolball Association (SLFA) has launched an investigation into the unbelievable cases of two first division soccer matches that ended in a total of 187 goals.

Faca to Face Africa reports that Kahunla Rangers defeated Lumbebu United with a scoreline of 95–0. Meanwhile, Gulf FC beat Koquima Lebanon with a scoreline of 91 to 1.

The winning teams were struggling for promotion and they happened to be on equal points.

A goal difference was therefore needed for either team to gain promotion.

Sierra Leone’s football association had to nullify the results due to the outrageous scoreline.

The supreme football body in the country has, therefore, ordered an investigation into the circumstances.
