WILL THE RWANDAN PLAN WORK? – Adéwálé Ṣóbọ̀wálé

The British Prime Minister, in spite of criticisms from various quarters is bent on flying asylums seekers to Rwanda.

In fact, 50 asylum seekers have already been told they will be sent to the East African country.

However, this doesn’t appear to be solving the problem.

The DailyMail reports that another 50 migrants arrived today in Dover aboard two boats.

The new arrivals are said to include women and young children.

In a related development, when the minister for tackling illegal migration appeared before the House of Commons’ Home Affairs Committee this morning, he expressed the hope that the scheme would have a ‘deterrent effect’.
